The Spoon Bakery Story

Spoon Bakery & Eatery began as a small home-based bakery in Somerset-West.

It was founded by Chef Ruben and Chef Mornéz, both sharing a deep love for exceptional food, coffee, and good company.

After numerous orders, wedding cakes and market days, our journey led us to open our first restaurant.

Our sustainably Farmed Rainbow Trout is sourced from B'Bos Trout in Baardskeerders Bos. Their trout is fresh and free from preservatives and harmful additives.


Free-Range Eggs

Our eggs are exclusively free-range, sourced from Groot Geloof Eiers in Caledon.

Spoon Bakery

From breads, pastries, mayos, hollandaise and all the spices - we create everything from scratch in our kitchen.
